£9 - £20 Per Hour
There is a reason why 11 of our Care Assistants have been with us for over 10 years… we respect, value and listen to all of our Care Assistants and provide a friendly and flexible environment for our carers to work in.
With guaranteed hours available, well constructed runs, clients close together so there is minimal travelling time, we have all been carers and every single member of our team from the Co-ordinators to the Director still delivering care, we are a company that leads from the front and listens to its staff. This means we understand the role of Care Assistant better than most businesses and we constantly look to make changes to improve.
Looking for progression in the future? We fill all our promotions internally, you will have the chance to start your QCF 2 (NVQ) after 6 months, you can then progress to senior carer with training to level 3, taking on specific office based roles or even develop to care coordinator, shift supervisor etc. If you want to progress into other roles outside of Avon Home Carers we will still support you while at university or college by offering a flexible approach to your working pattern.
Our big focus is giving you time to care. Most of our calls average 45 minutes which means you have time to do the most important thing; put a smile on the faces of the people you support in your local community and to do it without being rushed.
With monthly and quarterly competitions, a Christmas hamper raffle, Xmas party for the staff organised by the staff, Care Assistant of the month and always passing on positive feedback from our clients – we know how to look after our Care Assistants
