All of our Care Assistants have one thing in common – they are happy! We value and respect all of our staff and that is why we have such an incredible team of Carers working for us.
We are a small family run Homecare provider which means we have time to invest in our staff and make sure you are provided with the best working environment possible to do the most important thing – put a smile on the faces of the people who make up your community. We treat our clients like family; we laugh, we share, we engage and we provide that extra bit of support, just like you would with any family member.
This means we spend our time engaging with our clients, listening to them, laughing with them, sharing with them and finding ways to make sure that they are valued for who they are and this is the reason why that all of our visits are a minimum of 1 hour – we give you time to care!
Here is how we reward our Care Assistants:
Our Registered Manager is very popular amongst our Care Assistants, she is kind, professional and supportive and has an open door policy for all of her staff, whether that’s for a quick catch up and a cuppa or if you want to discuss anything to do with work – your feedback is what makes a difference and we are an employer who listens and responds.
We pride ourselves on our on-going support to our Care Assistants, as it is you that makes a difference to the people in your community on a daily basis – and that’s why we always remember to say thank you. From flowers, cards, little gifts and pins/badges we always remember to thank our staff and we stay in touch with our Care Assistants because our Managers and Director still go out and deliver care.
For existing Care Assistants our focus and attention is not only on supporting our clients and their families but also ensuring you are supported and respected. We spend a lot of time ensuring that we communicate all updates and changes with you whether that be via a quick phone call, email or our company Whatsapp group.
Our team have a mix of skills and we find that people from Teaching Assistant, Hair Dresser, Nursery Assistant, Retail assistants, Charity/Volunteering and policing backgrounds make amazing Care Assistants.
