Care Assistant

Job Type:

£9 - £10 Per Hour

The reason why their Care Assistants are happy is for two reasons, firstly because they work for a company who respects, values and understands its Care Assistants and most importantly they end each day knowing they change the lives of the people in your community on a daily basis.

Our five longest serving care Assistants have been with us for a combined total of 43 years, with 2 of them delivering care for us for over 10 years each! The reason why our Care Assistants stay with us for so long is simple; because we value all of your work and we make sure you are acknowledged, appreciated and rewarded for this.

If you are looking to progress or build a career in Social Care then we are the perfect company for you. Six of our office staff started as Care Assistants and have been promoted into a variety of roles including Branch Manager, Supervisor, Co-ordinator and HR Administrator.

Your general responsibilities as a Care Assistant will be to help support someone in their own home ranging from domestic duties, assistance with medication and food preparation and at times personal care – but most importantly, being a friendly face.

Here is how we support/reward our Care Assistants:

  • £9.15 – £10 per hour
  • Carer of the month prize
  • Free Uniform
  • Training provided (it doesn’t matter if you don’t have experience)
  • Parking available at the office
  • Flexible hours: part time and full time work available

The whole team is filled with characters, we are approachable, friendly and supportive and we stand out because we understand our Care Assistants and Customers; our Registered Manager started as a Care Assistant so she understands and listens to her staff and most importantly responds by making changes.

From Christmas presents and our annual Xmas meal, Birthday cards (and presents!) to Carer of the month we look after our Care Assistants as it is because of your support that people start and end the day with a smile on their face.

If you are new to care then don’t worry. We provide the highest standard of training and support and we find that people from Teaching Assistant, Hair Dresser, Nursery Assistant, Retail assistants, Charity or Volunteering background make great Care Assistants.
