Providing home care in the South and West of Bristol, our Care Assistants go the extra mile, work hard, and along with the day to day practical tasks (personal care, meal preparation, light cleaning, administering medication), they provide kindness and companionship to our customers. They recognise and treat our customers as individuals and are committed to providing the highest quality of care, enabling people to remain at home where they feel the most comfortable.
Could you be a part of the Bluebird Team as a Care Assistant? You don’t need to have previous experience, but you’ll be flexible and reliable. Perhaps you have provided care to a family member, or always liked the idea of working in a challenging, yet rewarding job, where no 2 days are the same. You may have acquired transferable skills along the way such as hospitality or customer service. So long as you’re kind in nature, we can teach you the rest!

To apply as a Care Assistant you’ll need to be a driver with your own vehicle.
As a Care Assistant you can expect to receive a comprehensive paid induction and full support to complete the Care Certificate during probation. If you wish, we’ll also provide you with career progression opportunities.
Standard shift times for our Care Assistants are 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm (where you will visit a number of customers in their own homes). We have a range of hours available (such as mornings, evenings, waking nights, sleep-ins and live-in care), and will work with you to agree your availability (some evening and weekend work would be required).
