The reason why my client has so many Care Assistants who have been with them for over 6 years is simple – they value and respect all of their Care Assistants, they always say thank you for making a difference and they provide friendly, flexible and supportive framework to you work in.
Their main focus is their Care Assistants, it is you. Most of their office staff started as a Care Assistants and have been promoted internally. With their Supervisors, Co-ordinators, Administrator and Manager all still delivering care, they are a business that stays in touch with its Care Assistants because they lead from the front; they listen to their staff, they respond and they make changes to constantly improve.
About working as a Care Assistant:
The first person you will meet is their receptionist Sue who is incredibly popular with both staff and customers – she is the mother hen of the business and you can always count on her to put a smile on your face. Their door is always open to our Care Assistants and they always make sure they have time for you. They also make sure you have time for your customers and that’s why most of their visits are a minimum of 30 minutes.
With an endless supply of cake and biscuits in the office, a ‘Butty Van’ delivers daily on site, Goody bags for Xmas, Cards on your birthdays, Xmas party with dinner, band, drinks and awards (always a hoot!) super friendly staff and the chance to do the most important thing – put a smile on the faces of the people who make up your community on a daily basis, they are everything you could possibly want from an employer.
