We value and respect our Care Assistants because they simply do an incredible thing that is often overlooked – they put a smile on the faces of the people in our community who need a little bit of extra support.
Why we stand out:
What makes us stand out is how we support our Care Assistants. We appreciate our Care Assistants and we never forget to acknowledge the amazing work you do in your community.
We have a unique approach to our clients, it is about learning to get to know the person who you support, like any friend or family member would. This means we spend our time engaging with our clients, listening to them, laughing with them, sharing with them and finding ways to make sure that they are valued for who they are.
We have an amazing sense of community in the business – like a family and many of our Care Assistants have been with us for many years. This is because we treat our Care Assistants well and we always support you. We have an open-door policy for all of our staff, we have regular team meetings and always pass on positive feedback from our clients to acknowledge the great work you do in the community.
What we do:
The people we support mean a lot to us and the way we support them is by providing a little bit of extra help in the community on a daily basis. This includes companionship, food preparation, help with medication, trips out, helping people start their day and being a friendly face to have a cup of tea with and share stories – just like you would with your own family.
We provide full training and take people on who haven't worked in care before. If you are from a volunteer, charity worker, teaching assistant, nursery assistant or hair dressing background then this will be the perfect position or you.
What we offer:
We match up our clients with our Care Assistants, based on shared interests. If you love to bake, then support someone who would like some assistance in the kitchen, or to just watch Bake Off together! Our Care Assistants who have dogs, visit clients who love dogs – Yes that means you can bring your pooch to work!
