Cambridge’s leading Home Care provider has a great opportunity for someone to join as a new Care Supervisor – an integral role in the business. This is the perfect role for an existing Care Supervisor, Care Coordinator or Care Assistant looking to progress their career in care.

The role focuses on two key areas – Carers and Customers, but most importantly it is an enjoyable and varied position that provides a perfect balance between working in the office and within customer’s homes.

Supporting Carers:

If you enjoy using your experience and knowledge to mentor, nurture and support existing Care Assistants then the Care Supervisor role will be an ideal role which allows you to spend more time focusing on support and less time providing direct care in the community.

Supporting Customers:

The Care Supervisor is responsible for making sure customers receive excellent quality care and support to help them remain safe and comfortable in their own homes. This role is about being a professional and friendly face who wants to understand customers and form a rapport with them.

Key Responsibilities of a Care Supervisor

  • Developing and supervising the care team to ensure a high standard of care is delivered to all customers
  • Effective implementation of customer care assessments, care & support plans, risk assessments and reviews
  • Ensuring all emergency on-call issues are dealt with effectively
  • To ensure that all changes to care schedules are reported without delay to the coordinator
  • To maintain all reporting and recording procedures are up to date
  • To liaise closely with the Coordinators, Care Manager, customers, care workers and external agencies
  • To assist in performance related matters when requested
  • A portion of the on-call

Requirements for a Care Supervisor

  • Preferred understanding of the social care sector
  • Full clean driver’s license
  • Self-motivated and well organised
  • Flexible
  • Good communication skills
  • Positive attitude and Fun outlook
